It's often said that the ground is the natural environment for a pinhole camera. The low angle helps you get a dramatic composition and makes the most of the great depth of field. But putting the camera on the ground isn't always desirable, for example if the ground is wet or uneven. In this video I compare two table-top tripods with a very similar specification and a different price; the Manfrotto PIXI EVO and the Gitzo GKTBC Mini Traveller. I bought the Manfrotto to use with my Noon pinhole camera, at the time it cost £42. It wasn't good value, as my blog about my first outing with the pinhole camera tells. The Gitzo was a very costly £189 (February 2023 prices) but is far more rigid.
